Paris is opening up again!
With the exception of restaurants and bars, we're on our way to being completely open for business - just in time for the height of the holiday season.
If you're in town, here are three things you can enjoy in the coming days:
AFRICOLOR
This concert series launched on November 24, refusing to knuckle under to the pandemic by going virtual. Now that restrictions on gathering are being incrementally lifted, the following remaining performances will be held live:
Indépendences Cha Cha - Guinée et Sénégal (theatrical production) - Théâtre Gérard Philipe in Saint Denis - December 16 at 7 PM
L'Orchestre du Grand Bamako (musical production) - Théâtre Gérard Philipe in Saint Denis - December 17 at 7 PM
L'Afrique enchantée fait son bal marmaille (musical production) - Houdrement Centre Culturel in La Corneuve - December 18 at 7 PM

LA RONDE POP-UP STORE FOR AFRICAN-INSPIRED GOODS
For ladies who love to shop, consider visiting the La Ronde pop-up boutique at Barbizon, 141, rue de Tolbiac (Paris 13e, Metro: Place d'Italie) to peruse handmade African-inspired clothing, accessories, and other items. According to Catherine Loveland Aubin, who was kind enough to share this information, the merchandise is very high quality and priced affordably.
