Remembering the Dapper Museum

Just over three years ago, the Dapper Museum closed its doors forever. It was unable to successfully compete against the mega budget and hugely successful exhibitions hosted by the Musée du quai Branly, the Cartier Foundation, and the Louis Vuitton Foundation.

NMAAHC Inaugural Ceremony Livestreamed at the Musée Dapper

The U.S. Embassy and the Musée Dapper partnered to present a livestream of the inaugural ceremony of the National Museum of African American History and Culture and a panel discussion about the remarks made by President Obama at the event.

Drum Planet - One Beat, One World

In 2011, the Dapper organized a private event consisting of an animated, interactive percussion lesson and a visit to the Angola: Figures de Pouvoir exhibition.
